New Patients Appointments
New patients are required to have
a physician referral to be seen in our office. Exceptions are made for
patients new to the area with a history of cardiac problems, but these
patients will still need to obtain a family physician prior to their
scheduled appointment. Our physicians work very closely with referring
doctors in order to provide the most comprehensive care possible. |
Referrals
Since we are a specialty practice,
many insurance companies require a referral or authorization number
prior to the visit or procedure. We assist the patient in every way
possible to obtain their referral form, but ultimately it is the
patient's responsibility to obtain their referral. |

of cardiac care. The following are examples of conditions for which we
provide medical and surgical treatment:
• Heart Failure

we also provide . |
Fees and Insurance
We are participating providers for
Medicare, Arkansas Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield and their
affiliates and various other private insurance companies. We are
required by law to collect all co-pays and deductible amounts as
specified in your particular insurance regulations. We collect these
fees at the time of service. Although payment is expected to be made as
soon as possible, we work generously with our patients and will set up
monthly payment arrangements that are affordable for each individual
patient. |
Existing Patient Appointments
Existing patients may call the
office to schedule an appointment themselves. Non-emergencies will be
worked into the schedule at the next available appointment. If a
patient is having active problems, they need to speak with one of our
nurses to be directed either for emergency care or scheduled into the
clinic as soon as appointments are available. |
