Release, 6/19/09 Cardiovascular Associates of North Central Arkansas Receives Echocardiography Accreditation Cardiovascular Associates of North Central Arkansas in Mountain Home, Arkansas has been granted a three-year term of accreditation in Echocardiography by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratories ( ICAEL). Echocardiography is a complex imaging technique that relies on the experience and training of both the physician and sonographer. Their interpretive and technical abilities determine the accuracy of an echocardiographic examination. ICAEL has developed an accreditation program which evaluates the quality of these and other critical elements of an echocardiography laboratory. For the past 11 years, Cardiovascular Associates has been on the leading edge of Cardiovascular Patient Care. With the ICAEL re-accreditation of the clinic's Ultrasound/Echo department in 2009, ACR accreditation of MRI and ICANL accreditation of the Nuclear Cardiology departments in 2008, Cardiovascular Associates continues to lead the way in Patient Care with the highest commitment to Cardiovascular Diagnostic Imaging.
